Panasonic Company Largest cloud computing deal worldwide Panasonic chooses IBM LotusLive Armonk, NY, Vienna, Jan 2010: cloud computing keeps getting larger-scale in the company: so has Panasonic decided to opt for the cloud computing offering IBM LotusLive and all employees of the company providing web-based solutions for communication and collaboration. By IBM LotusLive, the company wants to make more efficient especially the cooperation with its worldwide network of customers, partners and suppliers. Panasonic uses IBM LotusLive for Web conferencing, data sharing, instant messaging, and project management. In addition also LotusLive will use Panasonic connections for business social networking. As part of this investment in the open IBM technology the company will migrate employees from Microsoft Exchange and other solutions to LotusLive for email, calendaring, and contact management.
